More than measurements

Today was supposed to be a quiet day.  I had a couple of little jobs that needed me to come by and visit.  The first one was rather simple.  Found the corners verified them with the other control and flagged them up for a fence.

Then a client sends me this.....

So then pull this ROS....
And Compare it to this Deed.....
Conclusion.  The County has no idea what they are talking about.  Does this happen anywhere else?

  2. I had the Maricopa County Assessor call me a few days ago. He said all my curve data was backward because my "Radial" bearings at the non-tangent curves in my description and on my exhibit were not going toward the radius point. I nicely explained to him approximately 3 times after reviewing my legal descriptions while I had him on the phone that "Radial" is out from the center or radius of the curve. When he restated his argument that I was wrong for the forth time, I explained to him I was only going to say this one more time. "By definition, the term radial is out and the descriptions were correct."

He thanked me and hung up.

I never mind anyone contacting me on issues such as these.
Scrivener errors are easily done. As a lone-surveyor I welcome
a second set of eyes and contact with any issues. But this
gentlemen could not reverse his mind to rotate 180 degrees.
